Golden visa UAE benefits: what the visa gives you
Every route above carries a 10-year permit. It is renewed on the same terms while you meet the conditions of your route.
The visa is in your own name, with no employer or company as sponsor. You live, work, study and invest in the UAE on it.
The 6-month rule of other residence visas does not apply. The permit stays valid however long you are outside the UAE and lapses only when it expires.
You sponsor your spouse, children of any age, your parents and domestic staff. We file their visas alongside yours.
An applicant who is abroad receives a 6-month entry visa with multiple entries to complete the process in the UAE. We apply for it with the first filing.

How much money a UAE golden visa takes
Three routes founders use
The three routes founders use ask for AED 2,000,000 in property, AED 2,000,000 in a deposit or a company, or a salary of AED 30,000 a month. The amounts are set in dirhams, and the dirham is pegged to the US dollar at 3.6725, so they do not move with the exchange rate.
Money that counts, and the salary route
Money for the deposit and the company routes is your own: a loan does not count. Property is the exception, where a mortgage from an approved local bank is accepted. The salary route counts the monthly salary in your approved UAE contract. The job is at the first or second occupational level, and you hold a valid work permit and a bachelor's degree or higher.

10 yearsRenewed on the same terms
After 10 years the visa is renewed for another 10, on the same terms, when you still meet the conditions of your route. The property is still yours, the deposit is in place or the salary is still paid. We remind you before the date and file the renewal with fresh evidence.
183 daysA residence permit and tax residency
A golden visa is a residence permit, and the UAE levies no personal income tax. With 183 days a year in the country, or 90 days and a home or a business here, you are tax resident. The Federal Tax Authority confirms it in a tax residency certificate (TRC), the paper a claim under a UAE double tax treaty rests on.
2 yearsAn investor visa first, then the golden visa
Founders often hold the two statuses in turn: a 2-year investor visa through your company to start, and the golden visa once a qualifying asset is in place. The investor visa is issued 1 to 3 weeks after the license and costs from AED 3,000.

What is the minimum salary for a golden visa in the UAE?
AED 30,000 a month, about $8,200, under an approved UAE employment contract, with a valid work permit and a bachelor's degree or higher.
Does a mortgaged property qualify for a golden visa?
Yes. Property worth AED 2,000,000 or more qualifies with a mortgage from an approved local bank. We file the title deed with the bank's letter.
Does property held through a company count for a golden visa?
Not on the property route, which asks for a title deed in your own name. An owner who holds assets through a company applies on the company route, by the company's capital, the value of the share or the tax it pays.
Can I sponsor my family on a golden visa?
Yes, with no age limit for children. Each relative's file carries a passport and an attested marriage or birth certificate, and we file it together with yours.
How long does a golden visa application take?
Pre-approval arrives within 48 hours to 7 days, and a complete file is processed in 2 to 3 weeks. You come to the UAE for the medical test and the Emirates ID.
Do I need health insurance for a golden visa?
